Winter Formal
Overview
The SoCal Cup: Winter Formal is a three-day 12U-18U boys event held December 11-13, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
- The Tournament Schedule will be released on Wednesday, December 9th at 6:00PM PST.
Registration
- Tournament registration does not guarantee acceptance into the event. Acceptance into the event is only granted provding there is space and once the tournament entry fee has been received.
- Age Group: 12U-18U Open and Club Divisions
- Registration fee: $1050
- Registration Opens: 9/8/26 at 9:00AM PST
- Registration Closes: 11/14/26 or until the divisions reach capacity
- Event registration will be completed through SportWrench. Be sure to select the correct division when registering.
- Acceptance for all divisions is first-come, first-served determined by the date and time a team completes all Tournament Entry requirements, until available space is filled or November 14th, 2026, whichever comes first.
- If the division is filled, payment will need to be submitted in order to join the waitlist.
- For teams that are on the waitlist and have completed payment, but were unable to fill a spot in the event, we will honor a refund for the team.

2025 Winter Formal Tournament Recap
Prohibited Items
- Security & Safety:
- Firearms, knives, weapons of any kind, fireworks, mace, pepper spray, and anything deemed a weapon by management are prohibited.
- Food & Beverage:
- Outside food, beverages, coolers, and glass/metal containers are generally prohibited.
- Other:
- Large bags or luggage, personal seating or outdoor chairs, aerosol cans, drones, flashlights, large banners/flags, laser pointers, noise-making devices, sticks/poles, umbrellas, pets (other than service animals)and anything else deemed inappropriate by the event organizers are prohibited.
Refund Policy
If a team needs to be removed from a tournament due to certain circumstances, please fill out the form below. Once this form is completed, please send to info@socalcupvolleyball.com. Once SoCal Cup has received and approved the club's removal form, the individual team will be removed from the tournament. If more than one team from a club can no longer participate in the tournament, please submit more than one form (one form per team).
If a team(s) removal form is submitted and received 30 days prior to the tournament start date, a refund will be given to the team(s) and removed from the tournament. If a team(s) removal form is submitted and received less than 30 days prior to the tournament start date, no refund will be given and the team(s) will be removed from the tournament.
Rosters
- Roster Deadline: 12/9/2026 at 9:00PM PST
- Rosters have a max of 15 Players and 5 coaches per team.
- If you wish to sit on the bench during the matches, you must be on the roster for the team.
- Roster changes that need to be made after the roster deadline has passed will require a $50 fee. This MUST be completed at the tournament desk.
Team Check-in and Credential Pick-up
- Team check-in will be completed online through SportWrench.
- The check-in deadline: Thursday, December 10th, 2026 at 9:00PM PST.
- Credential Pick-up:
- Early pick-up will be available on Thursday, December 10th .
- Day of pick-up will starting on Friday, December 11th at 6:30AM PST.
- All coaches and players must keep their credentials with them at ALL TIMES in order to go in and out of the tournament halls.
Spectators
Ticket Information
- Tickets go live on 12/6! Ticket purchase page link coming soon!
- Day Passes are valid for entry to any single day of the tournament
- Weekend Passes are valid for entry to all 3 days of the tournament
- All Spectators will require a ticket for admission into the event. No cash will be accepted at the door, all tickets are required to be purchased through SportWrench.
- Children 6 years old or younger are free.
- There are no senior or military discounts available.
- Ticket prices will increase if purchased on & after Friday, June 19th.
Spectator Code of Conduct
SoCal Cup is committed to the safety and well-being of every participant and spectator at our events and will not tolerate harassment, discrimination, abuse, or misconduct. By entering our events, you agree to not exhibit any of the following prohibited behavior:
- Any behavior that is unruly, disruptive, threatening, or violent in nature, including verbal or physical harassment toward anyone.
- Display signs, symbols, images, use language or make gestures that are threatening, abusive, or discriminatory toward an individual’s race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, and/or sexual orientation.
- Bring and/or carry any weapons including, but not limited to, knives, concealed weapons, and firearms into the event.
- Use tobacco, vaping devices or e-cigarettes, marijuana, illegal drugs, or controlled substances at this event.

No Spectator shall persistently address a game official at any time. This includes but is not limited to:
- Spectators shall not make derogatory comments to players of any team.
- Spectators shall not dispute calls during or after the game.
- Spectators shall not advise an official to watch certain players or attend to rough play.
- Spectators shall not yell at the officials, EVER. This includes criticism, sarcasm, harassment, intimidation, discriminatory comments, or negative feedback of any kind before, during, or after the game.

The only allowable exceptions to addressing an official are:
- Spectators may point out an emergency or safety issues, such as a player injury or observed fighting.
Policy Violation
- Any person not in compliance with the Code of Conduct will be removed from the event facility at the discretion of the SoCal Cup Tournament Staff, without admission refund, and cannot attend a SoCal Cup Volleyball event in the future, pending attendance reinstatement review.
- SoCal Cup Volleyball may take any corrective action it deems appropriate to assure proper sportsmanship; the safety and well-being of all participants, spectators, officials and event staff; and the integrity and standards of the event. All teams, coaches, players, and spectators are subject to rulings and corrective actions.
- Anyone discovered in possession of or consuming illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, or e-cigarettes will be immediately expelled from the event. There are no warnings for possession or consumption of materials listed above for players or any other underage person whose name appears on the tournament roster. Expulsion will be immediate.
- Destruction of property of any kind will NOT be tolerated. Anyone discovered to have done so will be immediately expelled from the event and future entry will be revoked.
- Pets (other than service animals) and weapons of any kind will NOT be allowed in any event.

Travel accommodations on the final day of the event should be booked no earlier than 7:00PM.
This is NOT a Stay and Play event. Discounted rooms at nearby premium hotels will be available through TTS(Team Travel Source) for teams wishing to book near the Convention Center.
